Custom tours are planned to meet your budget and interests, from Spanish school, to nature travel, to encountering some of Guatemala's fascinating, lesser- traveled locations, with tours, accommodations and pace set to meet your needs, supported by 24/7 in-country bilingual support if you need assistance. as well as in-country bilingual support interacting with some of the lesser known options, from backpacker accommodations to five star hotels as well as transportation assistance.
What kind of in-country transportation do you provide?
BFGT provides a mix of private and public transportation. As a green and responsible business, BFGT supports
local transportation and the opportunity it provides to better understand and to connect with the
people of the host country. When local transport is inadequate to our needs, BFGT hires reliable
local drivers and minivans. Walking is also an integral part of our tours.
Tell me about your accommodations.
Our participants’ travel environment is important to us. We provide comfortable, clean, secure and unique locally- owned accommodations in beautiful locations. Usually these accommodations include a private hot water bathroom in each room.
Please note that the two-night homestay in Sumpango is double occupancy or dorm style and involves a shared bathroom.
Our prices are based on double accommodation. If you are traveling solo, we will try to arrange a roommate for you
unless you prefer a single room. The unavailability of roommates or your preference for a single room will result
in a supplemental fee to cover the cost of a single room.

Walking, some of it over uneven terrain and cobblestones is an integral part of our tours . All activities are optional, however, so if you prefer to sit out an activity, we respect your preference.
